Kelechukwu Okezie (Ph.D; CFRM; Ashoka Fellow; Ford Fellow) is the Executive Director / Founder of Neighbourhood Environment Watch (NEW) Foundation.

OKEZIE Kelechukwu Jasper (PhD; CFRM) is an environmental rights and social justice activist. He works with mining-impacted communities and vulnerable groups at the grip of poverty, linking them to opportunities necessary to take them out of poverty. His passion involves trees planting, mobilizing communities to become custodians of their environment, and holding governments accountable, thereby providing inclusiveness and good governance.

Okezie Kelechukwu is the Founder and Chief Executive of Neighbourhood Environment Watch (NEW) Foundation, with over eighteen years leadership experience in the Non Profit sector in Nigeria as well as a Focal Point and leader in many Non Profit coalitions in Nigeria.

 Okezie is an Ashoka Fellow; Ford Fellow; ARNOVA –AROCSA Scholar. Okezie is a UNICEF trained WASH Master Trainer / Facilitator. He has made several scholarly presentations at national and international conferences and won national and international recognitions. Okezie is open for consultation, conference facilitation and public presentations. He is an author, a poet and public social analyst. He loves reading, travelling and critical thinking.
